Music fanatic, outdoor adventurer and all-around creative, I’m the artistic side of the Piggybank team, the unofficial office DJ, and the guy who always walks (or bikes) to work.
I grew up surrounded by art. My father was an illustrator and painter (and guitar player) and introduced me to a variety media as soon as I could hold a pencil.
I doodled away many trees worth of paper as a kid, and then discovered that I could make art with a computer as well. First Windows Paint, then Photoshop, 3D rendering, and animation. I dabbled in everything I could get my hands on, and eventually went to College for Graphic Design, then Mobile Application Development, and ended up somewhere in between: web design.
I’m a true design geek. I’ll go out for dinner and get distracted by the design of the menu (especially if it’s a nicely designed one) and forget that I’m supposed to be ordering something. I’m fascinated by the design of buildings, cars, clothing, books, web sites (of course) and so many other everyday things we normally take for granted; they are all creations of design geeks like me.
Since joining the Piggybank team, I’ve focused my design passion on the web, learning to design fluidly, in code, instead of on paper, and I always aspire to make every design my best one yet.
